“Do it right the first time, every time”
Select Onion Company believes that quality and innovation are the keys to success. First, we seek individuals who strive to be the best and invest in them through on going training. As a team, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest quality standards. Moreover, we support our efforts with our Quality Assurance Systems, which utilize state-of-the-art technology. Select Onion meets the highest standards demanded in the industry by improving our processes, skills and environment. Our quality manual is comprised of techniques and protocols to ensure efficiency in our operation and excellent service to our customers.
Select Onion Company is dedicated to meeting our customer needs and requirements by establishing and maintaining a program of quality assurance. We have determined that "Quality Control" gives a negative feeling to our process. By taking a preventative approach to food safety, based on the seven key principles of HACCP, we have developed a process that is already under control. The error that does not exist cannot be missed. Prevention is something we know how to do if we understand the process.
To accomplish this objective, the company is dedicated to:
- Total customer satisfaction.
- Continuous quality improvement.
- Continuous process improvement.
- Employee involvement and training.
Everyone who works at Select Onion Company belongs to the quality assurance department. Each employee has an important role in seeing that their particular assignment will assure that the product they are working on will meet our quality standard.
Each company we do business with has their own specifications. We have found that it is easier for us to produce the standard cuts of IQF onions if we take the toughest specifications and write one specification that will meet all our customer needs. This way, when a customer calls for product we will always have a product that will meet their needs. Inventory control is no problem for us if the entire product meets the same specifications. |
